DAO:TMM The wedding album

After Kyle and Mari's wedding, past February, I made many sketches showing my favourite moments of the event. Some of them look better than the other, but I wanted to put all of them together, and not only as a crappy sketchdump. It's a wedding, manure!, so I took a bit of time into making them look like old pictures. Ohhh, yes. I know, it's Dragonage and there are no photographers yet. But what the hell...

Scenes (from top to bottom, left to right):

- On the way to the aisle, Tegnar, who was acting as Marilyn adoptive's father, started feeling terrible pain in his knees, so much that he even fell to the ground. Mari wouldn't have entered without him so she tries to help, not caring about her wedding dress. Her sister Evelyn in the background looks to a suspicious servant, whose face is familiar, and who has too much of an Adam apple for a female elf...

- The groom receives the bride. This was quite a United Colors of Ferelden wedding: A human, marrying an elf, who was given away by a dwarf... The other characters here are the groom's adoptive mother, Lirya (an elf too) and Sister Theohild, who was, indeed, the one who held the ceremony...

- The vows. I was almost crying there. "Hereafter, I cannot live without you... Do not live without me"

- "You can kiss the bride". Sister Theolhild chose that moment to remember she had not say the infamous line "If someone has anything to say...". Dorian raised his hand and said "I object!" for the sake of trolling. Kyle just showed him the finger.

- Before going out of the chapel, a "Boom!" was heard. On Castle Cousland's courtyard, a whole the shape of a heart had been magically carved. Once Haakan swore he had not been responsible, and with a Ryan Cousland wondering how would his parents take it, they all decided it was a beautiful, though destructive, detail on an unknown admirer's part.

- Time for the lunch and the wedding cake... Apple pie, of coruse. Marilyn forgot her manners...

- Lauren glomping Haakan. The spotlight stealer scene at the wedding . And Lakan ship didn't sink after all. People crappily sketched at this scene, from left to right: Gem, Ambrose, Gwen, Lauren and Hakan anders-smooching and at the other table, Adrienne, Mari, Kyle, George and Dorian

- After lunch, guests were dragged to the gardens were several thousands of butterflies were released against the sunset. Since Mariló didn't draw it here's my take in that scene...

- ... which the newly-weds enjoyed a lot...

- The GM was now too busy with Haakan making up for the lost time, so the bouquet and garter scenes were just roleplayed in a couple of lines which were like "Ok you throw the bouquet and *throws dice* Nadette gets it and the garter *throws dice even more faster* goes to Ryan", so I had to make up in my mind the scene of all the girls going "yaoming" at the bouquet and the groom taking the garter with his teeth. And I decided to draw it because it DID happen, even if we didn't RP it.

- As the GM said, his dice were Rydette shippers. Here's the young couple's reaction at receiving both the bouquet and the garter, almost without a chance.

- The first waltz together. "I think I could spend my life listening to this music", Mari whispers while hearing Kyle's heart.

- Ambrose dancing with the bride. Maybe the best dancer in the group

There were other awesome scenes I didn't draw, like George crying at the wedding, Tahl and her beautiful dress, Ryan singing to Nadette, the bride throwing the bouquet or many others. There's also a big wedding portrait on the way, with ALL the characters who attended the wedding (even some NPC's we forgot to name in the session), but it is taking its time because they're A LOT of people. There was people missing too T_T. But like in real life, it was an awesome moment and I will cherish it forever.
