ME: Inara

Another sketch.

This time is Inara P'lari, my original character for a Mass Effect RPG we played this week-end (yes, that was what I spent all Easter holidays doing: playing RPGs!!!)

Inara is an asari commando, a true badass whose pretty face is full of scars and doesn't accept "no" as an answer. She is supposed to work for Aria in Omega, as the captain of a mercenary ship. Unfortunatelly she had to deal with such an undisciplinated bunch of weirdos in her crew (an egocentric anarchical human pilot who decided his decissions were better than the captain's, a pacifist asari doctor who risked her life to save their own enemies, a krogan who played "dolls" with batarian hostages, a turian who had secret affairs with the Shadow Broker, a betrayer Quarian, and another human whose behaviour can't even be described) she decided to ask Aria to release her of her duty. After getting so pissed off she was able to slam sliding doors. Yeah. Like Wrex in this comic:



No, seriously. The funniest game I've ever played, but also the only one I got so angry to another player my character even aimed her weapon to his head directly. I guess I got too much into my character.

Talking about weapons, I must thank my son because he drew the fusil for me. And I've realized Inara's armor looks a lot like Rogue Hawke's one. Oh, well...
