ME: Wedding Jane Shepard

My part of my Christmas art trade with . It's been a long time since I drew a wedding dress and I felt like doing it, so I offered it to her and she accepted.

As usual, wedding dresses for Shepards are a bigger challenge than for Dragon Age Wardens, because I feel compelled to give them a more modern look, which fits a Sci-Fi setting. But Jane is an amazing woman with a strong personality and that always help me to decide the kind of dress I think that would fit her. Besides, there's her tattoos. Jane has awesome tattoos (which I copy-pasted in the drawing because I'm unable to draw them properly) and I thought I had to show them. I couldn't find a proper way to show the one in her belly, since that would have looked awkward in a wedding dress (unless I made it a two pieces or something), but I wanted to make the ones in the arms visible. Enough to draw the viewer attention towards them but not as much as to steal protagonism from the dress. Finally I decided assymetry and a gauze sleeve would make them like part of the dress.

Not sure if I got it, but I'm satisfied with the result. Now I hope you like it too, Yanna!
